Fifth grade students have been learning about the importance of animal adaptations being the key to survival of different species. Mrs. Sisk’s Class used different materials to represent a variety of bird beaks. They used these “beaks” to try “eating” different food.

THE BOOK FAIR IS BACK! The Elementary Book Fair will be at the elementary library next Monday (13th) until Thursday (22nd). Due to Covid restrictions, it will not be open for parent teacher conferences. But, you can check out a lot of the merchandise at our book fair website. (scholastic.com/bf/westsideschool40) Scroll down to the bottom where it says virtual fair and you can preview a lot of the material. (Just don't purchase it online, you can buy it at the fair!)
