Friday, April 1, the Westside Trap Team was presented a ceremonial check to represent the $1400 worth of ammunition received from the NRA Foundation through a Friends of NRA grant. There were 36 grants awarded in Arkansas this year and 6 of the grants were awarded in Johnson County. All four schools in the county received grants and the University of the Ozarks received two grants, one for their shooting team and one for a range grant. Thank you to those who support the Friends of NRA and the NRA Foundation as they raise money to ensure the future of shooter education and firearm safety.
