Junior Beta is having a Bingo night at the High School on Saturday April 20th, 2024. Come out and support these kids and help get them to Nationals. Contact Ms. Gipson or Mr. Mayes for more information.

Seniors, with graduation right around the corner, Mrs. Robinson has sent out the picture package information. If you would like pictures from graduation please fill out the attached form and return it with the money to her the 16th of May.

FCCLA will be hosting a Jr High Dance on May 9th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The dance is for grades 6th-9th. .Pre-Tickets are $3 and any guests from outside of Westside High School must be signed up in the office and approved by Mr. Fisher before May 2nd. You can buy your ticket from Mrs. Hurt in room 18 or at the door on May 9th for $5.00

Trap Schedule 2024 Additional practices and/or tournaments may be added. * April 5, 2024 is the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation fundraiser shoot. This event will be dependent on the number of team members who want to participate and being able to obtain funding for the entry fees. This event is held at the Arkansas Shooting Sports Complex at Jacksonville. Let me know if you are interested in attending. * Practice on April 19th will be at the Arkansas Shooting Sports Complex in Jacksonville. I have three fields reserved beginning at 10:30 AM. We will leave at 8:00 AM to allow plenty of time to get to Jacksonville. When the date gets closer, I will have trip permission forms and more information for you. Many of you do not check your school email on a regular basis. In order to keep you informed, please sign up for REMIND. We will be having a FAFSA Night during Parent Teacher Conferences on February 15th to help seniors and their caregivers complete the FAFSA. Reminder: a student and their caregiver must complete the FAFSA in order to go to any college and trade school. We will be in the computer lab at the High School from 4:15pm-7pm. Westside School District to hold Title I Meeting October 16 The annual Title I meeting for Westside School District will be held on Monday, October 16 at 5:45 p.m. in the Westside High School Cafeteria. Topics that will be covered include: parents’ right to know (regarding teacher qualifications), the annual school report card, student assessment reports, progress review of the district, written state complaint procedure, types of communication used by the district, and services available for parents with disabilities. JC Westside School District Flu Clinic Flu Clinic will be held October 19th. Flu forms need to be back by Oct 18th. The Health Dept goes to the elementary first then we will be going to the high school.

It is not too late to join the Westside Shooting Sports Team. The shooting sports team is open to Westside students in grades 5 - 12. If you are interested in being on the shooting sports team this year, stop by Mr. Haltom’s room (Room 24) during Parent Teacher Conferences on Thursday, September 14th between 4:30 PM and 7:00 PM or email ghaltom@westsiderebels.net. Mr. Haltom will be glad to visit with you.
